Title says it all...

I was wondering if anyone here plays battlefield 2/expansions, I was 2star before i started Gw yrs and somewhat ago then got reset not so long after i got into gw.
But i was bored of gw so i was kinda playing both of them more lame guild wars so here it is and pm me here if need be.

OMG SOLO GUIDED OWNED!!!...then again it aint hard Lol!.

Oh Yeah!...Promotion

Anyway see you on the battlefield if you aint scared to drop ya wands and staffs and get into a real game.

I used to play, but the whole "Experience + Rank" system turned me off after I found out it was going to take like, 10,000 xp for my next rank, and at the rate I played it would be somewhere in the 10 month range. My clan stopped playing it, so I haven't installed it in the last year or so.

It's one of the best FPS's online though (besides maybe COD4). Anyone who likes Modern Warfare FPS should check it out if you haven't already.

I just wish there was more gametypes than Conquest.

BTW: Speaking of Battlefield, I'm definitely going to check out Bad Company when it comes out, if it hasn't already.

Yeah I used to play BF2 quite a bit. Bought it like 8 months ago

Not to brag but when I was a Gunnery Sgt I played so good that I was in the top with the Colonels and some Generals

I'm Master Gunnery Sgt right now. (No not Sgt Major, I didn't bother getting the basic transport badge LoL)

I myself suck with every vehicle heh...
I tried out flying there for a month. But all this camping for planes made me booooored. And when flying a bomber, whatever you do, if your new to flying: Do NOT pilot a bomber with a 4-star General as gunner. Or anything above 1-Star General... There is a high chance that they will call you either:
1. Fag
2. Noob.
3. Something bad in their language that you don't understand..
The list can go on and on.. ^^
So after my bad results with the flying I decided only to play Infantry only servers. Man I love those

But sadly now i only play like once a month... Gone playing CoD4 online instead. But I still feel like it takes more skill to be good at BF2 than CoD4 since the hit registration is baed in BF2, the iron sights or some weapons are just horrible and the shots miss alot easier.
Yes in CoD4 the sights sway on some weps, still you can hit most things with ease. It's staying alive that's the problem

I even tried to pull out a medkit and defibrillator while new to CoD4 hehe.

I played quite a bit of BF2, moved onto BF2142 I hate futuristic settings but the additions in BF2142 make the game all in all more fun. Battlefield Bad Company came out months ago by the way Kanyatta- its about time however for EA/Dice to announce Battlefield 3 for the PC, probably sometime early 2009.

My problem with the stats in Battlefield is that goofing around ultimately will hurt your score if you're hardcore, that and spawn camping is a major issue. My favorite times in BF2 was that one Middle Eastern vs USA map where the only vehicles were jeeps/vans + helicopters, the minigun in the american chopper owned hardcore you could get like a 10:1 death ratio- that map had the big golden temple dome thing too. Helicopters and generally any vehicle that gets packed is always fun too, blow em up and you get a good amount of kills. As for flying, yeah if you don't have a joystick don't pilot, people consider the jets/copters of BF2 to be for "elite" pros only. its not like that in BF2142, because everything is so easy to fly.

Vehicles ruined most of the game for me. It seemed if you weren't sniping or in a vehicle, you were waiting for the respawn counter. Vehicles are so imbalanced (especially the ones that take like, 3 C4's to kill).

I didn't really care for BF2142, but I only played the demo. Most of it seemed like a reskin of BF2, and the stuff that wasn't just felt awkward to me.

Ill think ull find there is infantry only servers xD. but i prefer using my joystick and pwning the anything on the ground or sky.

Thats would be mashtur city with black hawk and m17 heli i think it is called. yes that is a very cool map and well thought out but so is sharqi penisula if its infantry
